Educated Mess

Educated Mess is a skincare brand that uses active ingredients at potencies clinically proven to benefit a wide range of skin types. Their products work exceptionally well, so they never need to invent a marketing layer to make up for their efficacy.

I developed for them a verbal identity leaning into the juncture of bookishness and messiness—taglines like, “Disciplined formulations for messy people” and “100th percentile skincare.”

I also concepted, creative directed, and wrote an ad for their lash serum product that appeared digitally and on streaming services.
